Hello!
This video is about the Hebrew to Exodus 13:18. We also discuss how many Israelites left Egypt and why the rabbis think only one fifth of Israel left during the Passover.
Random things I left out;
- The verb 'chameshim' is a participle which is a verb acting as an adjective. In this case, it is modifying the object being the Israelites.
- The Piel participle has a 'mem' prefixed to the front. The Piel verb that I discuss in Genesis is in the 'Piel/Weqatal' form and is not a participle - which is why it does not have a 'mem' prefixed to it.
